Chantal is a partner and leads the Banking & Finance team. Chantal litigates and advises on financial law, both in individual and class actions. Chantal speaks clear language. Practical solutions to a dispute are preferred, but litigation is (successfully) undertaken when necessary. Specialisations: Unfair Terms Directive, ex officio review, duty of care, modification clauses, consumer credit, mortgage loans and other retail products (on the lender's side), securities law, corporate finance, financing structures, interest rate swaps and derivatives in general (on the borrower's side) and supervision and enforcement (on the regulator's side).
