Daan has worked as a candidate notary in the Government & Real Estate section since 2014. He deals with all facets of commercial real estate, but has specialised in energy law.
Daan's clients include grid operators, energy companies, developers, investors, banks and public authorities. Daan advises daily on complex sustainable projects such as solar, wind, hydrogen, heat and energy networks. In addition, he and his team establish the necessary leasehold and building rights for these types of projects and do not shy away from doing so at short notice or in large quantities at the same time.
Especially when new solutions need to be devised, Daan really comes into his own. For instance, he is one of the few (candidate) civil-law notaries who deals with the cadastral registration of networks, was involved in the first developments in the field of floating solar and is now working on a creative solution for solar-in-roof projects.
