Bas started in March 1998, while completing his studies in Notarial Law and Dutch Law at Radboud University in Nijmegen (KUN at the time), as a notarial assistant and later as a candidate notary at notary office Prick in Groesbeek and has thus been working in the notarial practice for over 25 years. On 1 October 2003, he joined Dirkzwager as a candidate notary, where he became a notary on 1 January 2012.
Although Bas has worked within all notarial disciplines, he has since specialised in more complex real estate and corporate law matters with a special focus on sustainability and healthcare-related real estate matters (windmills, geothermal energy, solar panels) and the associated organisational structures.
