Tom van Malssen is an attorney at the Supreme Court, and specializes in litigating appeal and cassation cases. Tom heads Dirkzwager's cassation and appellate litigation practice. He is also a deputy justice at the Court of Appeal of 's-Hertogenbosch and a fellow at the Research Center for Business & Law (OO&R).
Petra de Waal is a tax lawyer and has been with Dirkzwager since 2021. Petra specializes in VAT and transfer tax and has extensive experience in the field of joint ventures and subsidy projects in the healthcare, education and public sector and issues surrounding the deduction of VAT.
Candidate civil-law notary Daan Bastiaans has been working in Dirkzwager's Government & Real Estate section since 2014. Daan deals with all facets of commercial real estate, but has specialized in energy law. As such, Daan is part of Dirkzwager's Energy Law department and makes an important contribution to the energy team.
Frank Cornelissen has been working as a lawyer at Dirkzwager's Government & Real Estate section since 2015. Frank specializes in procurement law and construction law. His particular focus is on contracting in the context of area development ("Didam") and the social domain. Frank assists many public authorities, network operators and care providers, often in legal proceedings and regularly in interim injunction proceedings.
With the promotion of Tom van Malssen we are further expanding our litigation practice.
