Robert is a partner in the Government & Real Estate department. He specialises in buying and selling (healthcare) property, project developments, construction and tenancy law as well as the specific regulations for housing associations. He is a guest lecturer at Radboud University, a lecturer at the Healthcare Real Estate Masterclass and a permanent editor for the Rent Law section of the Real Estate Law magazine. Robert is one of the few lawyers in the Netherlands who is also a member of the RICS.
Robert's interest in real estate goes far beyond the rulebook. For instance, he not only understands construction law, but also engineering and knows what is going on in the market. He understands how an entrepreneur thinks. Robert's strength is that he is creative and translates complex issues into clear, practical advice. In his spare time, as chairman of the Bouwsociëteit Arnhem, Robert enjoys leading its members on project visits in the city of Arnhem.

GGZ Oost Brabant - Sale estate Coudewater - Dirkzwager has assisted GGZ Oost Brabant with the tender and sale of the Coudewater estate to property developer Van Wanrooij whereby the former GGZ estate will be transformed into a pleasant residential area with 400 homes.
Woningstichting Nijkerk - Inner-city redevelopment - Dirkzwager has assisted WSN with the demolition of existing buildings in the zoning plan Het Nieuwe Sint Jozef and the realisation of a residential programme with 180 flats, 12 school rooms, day-care centres, out-of-school care, and catering and activity space.
Model Agreement Conceptual Building - A new update of the Model Agreement Conceptual Building with a reading guide was published on 1 February 2024. The Model Agreement was created under the leadership of Dirkzwager (Robert Rijpstra and Lotte Blum) through intensive efforts of members of the Conceptual Construction Network, Aedes and Bouwend Nederland.
Royal Talens - Relocation paint factory - Dirkzwager has assisted Royal Talens in the sale of the existing inner-city paint factory in Apeldoorn to a project developer, including making agreements with the Municipality of Apeldoorn on the simultaneous purchase of a new industrial plot in Apeldoorn-Noord for the development and realisation of a new paint factory.
