Iris is a senior lawyer in the Government & Real Estate section and specialises in construction law and procurement law. In the field of construction law, Iris advises (semi-)public authorities and companies in drafting and assessing, among other things, construction, contracting and architectural agreements. She also assists these clients (if necessary up to the courts or the Arbitration Council) in disputes concerning, for example, additional and less work, construction perils, defects, warning obligations, cost-increasing circumstances, etc. UAV 2012 and UAV-GC 2005 often play a role in this. In the field of procurement law, Iris advises (semi-)public authorities and companies on everything concerning a procurement procedure, from the choice of procedure type to the drafting and editing of tender documents, verification questions and award decisions. She also assists these clients in legal proceedings.
