Register of jurisdictions

Lawyers are required to register in the jurisdictions register of the Netherlands Bar Association (NOvA) after their traineeship. This page shows which jurisdictions our lawyers have registered in the Register of Jurisdictions.

NOvA register of areas of law

Lawyers are obliged to register in the register of areas of law of the Netherlands Bar Association (NOvA) after their traineeship. The register contains 33 areas of law. They must register in a minimum of one and a maximum of four areas of law. For each registered area of law, lawyers must obtain 10 training points annually.

Find a lawyer

The new register of areas of law is the source for the NOvA's new search engine 'Find a lawyer ’. In this search engine, anyone can easily find a lawyer by area of law, place of residence or by name. More information about the register of jurisdictions and the search engine can be found on the NOvA website.
