Dirkzwager's valorisation team
Dirkzwager's Valorisation Team has successfully secured a project to establish a new legal entity in the Netherlands focused on paediatrics research. This entity will function as a central organization and is the result of cooperation between academic medical centres (UMCs), universities and pharmaceutical companies based in Europe, involving both profit and non-profit sectors.
Work
The team's work includes comprehensive legal, tax and governance guidance. This includes advice on the legal structure, facilitating the establishment of the entity in the Netherlands, addressing labour law issues for the staff involved, drafting agreements between all 21 national hubs in Europe and assessing the entity's tax position.
Multidisciplinary project
This multidisciplinary project led by Christel Jeunink was subject to strict deadlines during implementation. Several individuals from different legal and tax departments are working together on this project, including:
