Thijmen van Hoorn

Thijmen has been working as a lawyer in the Intellectual Property, IT & Privacy section since 2022. His focus is on IT and privacy law, where he deals with matters such as drafting processor agreements and complex IT contracts on a daily basis. In addition, Thijmen advises organisations on their IT infrastructure and privacy policies, and assists clients in court in a variety of proceedings, for example on data breaches or failed automation. With in-depth knowledge of IT and privacy law, Thijmen helps companies and (semi)public authorities to be compliant and minimise their legal risks. In addition, he prepares organisations for new legislation on AI, data and cybersecurity. Thijmen also educates his clients on the latest developments and opportunities in new technology.
